Although his untimely passing left his followers and the world in shock the afternoon of February 11, 2010, his followers keep his work alive.
The exhibition was designed to reflect McQueens’ greatest contributions to the fashion world. His shows and his collections were undoubtedly known for their emotional power and raw energy. His collections were romantic yet contemporary in nature.
So if you’re in NYC make sure you don’t miss this exhibit. Keep in mind that the wait for entrance is a bit long. Expect to wait 1 to 2.5 hours before you gain entry, so make sure that you plan ahead. If you are a member of The Metropolitan Museum of Art then you can bypass the line with up to 6 guests and attend private viewings with no wait.
